Every buyer of machine stretch film has asked themselves the same question at some point:

It's a fair question. Any number can be printed on a spec sheet. The only way to know the truth is to run the film on a real machine.
That's exactly why we made this video. Our General Manager, Mr. Li, personally ran a live stretch test on Pudi's newest custom wrapping machine — the Smart Wrap Resp "Yellow Hornet."

The Test Result: 450% Stretch Rate, On Camera
The setup was simple. A 10 cm strip of machine stretch film, fed through the machine, and stretched.
The result: 10 cm stretched to 45 cm — a 450% stretch ratio.
What does that actually mean for your warehouse?
More stretch means more savings. The further a film can stretch, the less film you use per pallet. You wrap more loads with less material — fewer rolls ordered, lower cost per pallet, less waste going to landfill.
Two Features That Set This Machine Apart
1. Height that covers the whole pallet
The new machine offers a custom wrapping height of up to 3.2 meters. Standard pallets are typically only 2.4–2.5 meters tall, and older wrapping machines simply can't reach the top of the load. With the new equipment, the film wraps from bottom to top with no exposed gaps — a critical detail for load stability on long shipments.
2. Custom rollers that push stretch further
The machine uses a pair of custom-engineered rollers — one large, one small. Because the larger roller turns faster and the smaller one turns slower, the combined action achieves a 400% stretch rate. By comparison, most wrapping machines on the market — including imported equipment — operate at around 300%.
Why We Test on a Machine Tougher Than Your Market's
Here's the part that matters most to us.
Our old factory test equipment operated at a 200% stretch ratio. Films passed factory testing with no problem. But when those same films reached customers — whose machines typically run at 300% — the film would fail.
That gap between "factory conditions" and "real-world conditions" is exactly what we set out to eliminate.
So we custom-built this high-stretch test machine, and now every roll of Pudi machine stretch film is verified against a stricter standard than what you'll find in most markets.
The result: when a roll of Pudi film arrives at your facility, it stretches cleanly, resists tearing, and performs consistently on your equipment — not just in our lab.
Specs can be printed on a label. Performance has to be proven on the machine.
